Homework    40%

There will be a 5% adjustment between the final and the two exams. The

default procedure will be to move 5% off of your worst of the three, and add

the 5% onto your best score. For instance, if you blow Exam 1, but do your

best work on the final, then Exam 1 will count as 10%, and the final as 35%.

The basic idea of the adjustable 5% is to protect you against a bad day,

car trouble, etc.  If you want a different treatment of the weights, you should

make a proposal to me in writing. And notwithstanding any of this, the strongest

grade strategy is to do all the homework and understand all the material!
